  20. Yet another useless ArtWare-utility.  This one works only for kickstart
  21. 37.175, and will replace some of the default system interrupt servers
  22. (which are about the most heavily used code on the Amiga) with more
  23. optimised code doing excactly the same.
  24. Some system speed increase when multitasking should be the result -
  25. even more if you have available 32-bits ram.  Note - the speed increase
  26. will not be appearent or very low in speed-test-programs, as these usu-
  27. ally disables interrupts when testing the system performance.
  28. IPatch should be totally transparent to the system, and should not
  29. cause any other software to malfunction.  No warrants given, though -
  30. some badly written software may set the interrupt vectors in a non-
  31. system-friendly way, and could cause problems.
  32. IPatch WILL score "Enforcer-hits" and show altered vectors in virus-test
  33. programs, but this is due to how IPatch does its job by patching
  34. vectors.
  35. To use IPatch, run it from CLI, or put it in your S:Startup-Sequence or
  36. S:User-Startup.  If you experience problems (gurus) with IPatch, try
  37. SoftIPatch instead - this is a somewhat "kinder" version that doesn't
  38. bang the hardware vectors at all.  But it is a weeny bit slower.

  40. New in version 2.6 compared to 2.5:
  41. Should work on 68000 machines, and also with the KS in RAM.
